And the corollary/response:
Two-part image of a GIF followed by a screenshot of a text response.

The GIF begins

"The Paradox of Tolerance disappears if you look at tolerance _not_ as a moral standard, but as a social contract."

(Next to that paragraph is a picture of Escher's Impossible Cube.)

The text continues, in red:

"If someone does not abide by the terms of the contract, then they are not covered by it."

Back in black text:

"The intolerant are not following the rules of the social contract of mutual tolerance.

"Since they have broken the terms of the contract, they are no longer covered by the contract, and their intolerance should NOT be tolerated."

There is a credit line in much smaller text that reads "Inspired by 'Tolerance is not a moral precept' by Yonatan Zunger"

_____________

Beneath that is text, possibly a Facebook response (I don't know, sorry) from commasameleon:

"Sorry as someone who teaches rhetoric this is a wonderful response to the Paradox of Tolerance. I can not tell you how many times my students have had debates about this. This is the response. This does indeed fix it. I cannot wait to tell my classes now.
Philosophically and rhetorically this completely resolved the Paradox of Tolerance and I am floored by its simplicity and angry I never saw it before."
