🇪🇺 EU plans to tighten visa rules for Russians, – Politico

The EU is preparing to further tighten visa rules for Russian citizens. Namely, effectively stopping the issuance of multiple-entry Schengen permits in most cases.

Separately, as part of its 19th package of sanctions, the EU plans to restrict the movement of Russian diplomats, requiring them to inform states in advance about trips through the Schengen zone in order to counter the Kremlin’s “increasingly hostile intelligence activities.”
