I have tried a ton of recipes for carnitas, but none are as simple or as good as this.

The secret is a good heavy Dutch oven.

+Elias Ortiz did you ever make the Flautas Ahogadas from Jauja Cocina Mexicana? Her salsa verde looks great. Most of the time I use a bottled salsa verde (herdez salsa verde)

I usually make these carnitas and top the tacos with chopped cilantro, onion, and lime wedges on the side. Sometimes I shred radishes and add on top.

I think I need to head to the store and get some pork

Griff Ferrell no, i havent made the flautas, but her salsa verde is great!!! you use the same salsa for her chille verde recipe which is also great!
